Friends Seeking Book Donations for the
Spring Used Book Sale – May 13, 2017

The Friends of the Lynnfield Library have set the Spring Book Sale for Saturday, May 13 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm on the Town Common.  And once again, we will be sharing space with “Crafters on the Common” sponsored by Centre Congregational Church.  In case of inclement weather, the Lynnfield Library will accommodate the sale inside the building.  The sale items will include a large assortment of gently used books and other media materials, ready for appreciative new owners.

The Friends would like to request donations of hardcover non-fiction, small and large fiction and non-fiction paperbacks, DVDs, music CDs and all children and young adult materials.  Please check that your donations do not have water damage, ripped or missing pages, mold, stains, or debris.  The Friends cannot accept VHS tapes, textbooks, encyclopedias, Reader’s Digest Condensed collections, magazines, games or puzzles.

Please bring your boxed or bagged donations to the Library Circulation Desk or leave them in the Library foyer.  It would be most helpful for the staff if you could use boxes or bags that you can leave at the library with your donations. The Library is accepting donations until one week before the sale.

Additionally, there will be a table with materials for children and young adults at the Middle School on Saturday, May 20th as part of the Townscape Geraniumfest and Kids Day celebration.

The Friends of the Lynnfield Library is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization supporting Library programs and activities both financially and through hundreds of volunteer hours each year.  If you are interested in joining the Friends or would like information about the organization, please select the “Join the Friends Tab” on this site or email the Friends at friend@foll.org.   Thank you for supporting the Friends of the Lynnfield Library.
